The 'Healing in Progress' collection focuses on exploring the concept of secret languages within relationships and how they can be translated into wearable textile collections. The collection aims to highlight the importance of these secret languages and demonstrate how they can be represented in wearable garments that tell a love story.

Drawing inspiration from workwear, the 'Healing in Progress' collection provides functional, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing outfits for humans and pets that promote happy and healthy lives. The designs consider the movements of the human body and the specific needs of pets to create clothing that is both practical and visually appealing.

Ultimately, the goal of the collection is to create a safe environment for everyone to be able to spend the best quality time to heal the mind and body, and to make meaningful garments that take up a special place in human and canine's hearts. Each garment represents a love story and serves as a reminder of the love and happiness shared with their loved ones. The 'Healing in Progress' collection aims to contribute to the ongoing dialogue on the representation of emotions and relationships in fashion and inspire future designers to explore new ways of creating wearable garments that represent human emotions and relationships.

Image: To find my best option to create this project, I created a few tests with different types and colours of fabrics.
All the decisions regarding the materials are made based on these tests, and deeper research to obtain the best possible outcome.

Textile Translation system

1. English Alphabet
2. International Morse code
3. Numbering system created by myself using 2,4,8, getting inspired by the number under the barcode
4. Barcode using three different thicknesses of the line using the number given to each dot and dash.
5. Nubi quilting technique to transport the barcode to the textile.
